Combined Insurance Compliance Policies, Training, and Communications Specialist in United States

This individual is responsible for the North America (NA) Compliance training and awareness and policies and procedures function. The individual will develop and maintain an effective training and awareness program and develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for NA and implement an effective communication and awareness process. The individual will report directly to the NA Compliance Operations Officer.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Establish, implement, and coordinate a process for the development of, review of, and approval for new NA Compliance policies along with associated communication strategy. • Establish and implement a process for the review, revision and/ or retirement of existing NA Compliance policies and associated communication strategy. • Evaluate training requirements and develop and maintain an effective compliance training program for NA employees on various NA Compliance topics including relevant NA Compliance Policies. • Develop & implement a procedure to track, follow-up, and report mandatory training to ensure NA associates are completing required trainings. • Maintain Compliance department intranet site up-to-date with information, policies, and training materials. • Provide Compliance communications and content for the Chubb Employee newsletter and other sources of communication to NA employees. • Work with stakeholders and colleagues in Global Compliance and local compliance officers to determine the applicability of Compliance policies across jurisdictions and harmonize efforts where possible. • Partner with Business Compliance Officers to ensure that business unit specific compliance training is implemented as required. • Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint and presentation materials on behalf of the NA Compliance department. • Provide NA employees as well as NA Compliance staff with assistance and training on how to use compliance-related systems, applications, and tools. • Other duties as may be assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • 5 years of insurance industry experience and demonstrated understanding of the insurance regulatory environment in NA; • Very detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills; • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships; • Ability to consistently execute and deliver results; • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic development environment; • Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint Word; and legal/compliance research tools; and • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic development environment.
