Combined Insurance Financial Analyst in United States

The role will report to Chubb Global Services Manager of International Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Services is seeking highly motivated employee to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in multiple areas of our international financial operation. They will be exposed to a variety of challenges and educational opportunities designed to launch their careers in multinational insurance. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with network partners and joint ventures

  • Liaise with Chubb’s international affiliates to settle receivable balances and provide funding for losses

  • Assist with client calls, broker communication and track money movement throughout the world

  • Coordinate reinsurance payments and analyze loss activity

  • Review and assist in the collections of outstanding loss recoverable balances

  • General/Sub-ledger management, ensuring accounts are reconciled and balances are fully supported

  • Utilize new technology to enhance financial reporting, expense management and departmental metrics

  • Understand and document process flows and procedures

  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 0 to 3 years accounting/ insurance industry and/ or treasury experience

  • Good communications skills, as well as demonstrated ability to persuade, negotiate and interface with various levels of internal and external management within a global environment

  • Ability to work effectively with a small team sharing functions and responsibilities

  • Effective problem solving and analytical ability

  • Experience with Microsoft products is preferred (Excel, Visio, Access, etc.)
