Position Summary

  • The MGTI Access Management team provides the MMC Operating Company’s employee domain and system accounts, as well as data access to folders and shares globally while adhering to Information Security best practices and defined audit requirements.

  • The manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring service delivery, recruitment, team management and representing the Access Management team. They are responsible for ensuring that GLAM operations are conducted in adherence to the company’s and MGTI’s policies, and its own internal processes.


  • Delivery of Global Access Management Operations and support 24x7x365

  • Provides capacity, availability, service level, and IT service continuity management for the Global Access Management team.

  • Integrates IT key processes between other groups

  • Maintains service delivery and service level agreements for colleague support services.

  • Ensures that all phases of GLAM support are coordinated, monitored, tracked and resolved appropriately.

  • Assigns personnel to various operations and directs their activities.

  • Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reviews.

  • Oversees management of up to 15 FTE’s locally and backfills EMEA/APAC Manager when required meaning a total global team size of up to 30 people

  • Makes compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, merit increases, etc.

  • Conducts performance management and progressive counseling conversations, as required.


Education (degree / diploma)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is desired.


  • 10 + years proven management experience

  • 5 + years Active Directory/Access Management

  • Leading & Managing Projects

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Proven success managing Operations within large technical teams..

  • Exceptional mentoring, leadership, and customer service skills

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective presentation skills

  • Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Persistence, an eye for detail and ability to complete projects and keep to deadlines

  • Planning and organizing – self-starter. Ability to set priorities and deliver objectives without the need of day-to-day supervision

  • Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for numerous Operating Systems

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IT staff as well as other departments on issues of varying complexity; good judgment and flexibility in response

  • Advanced NTFS Permissions

  • Active Directory (Multiple Domains)

  • Exchange (Multiple Domains)

  • UNIX (preferred)

  • Provide Information Technology account support for internal employees and contractors of MMC directly with all Operating Companies, and regions. MGTI team members and managers for project work, and determine solutions.
