Combined Insurance HC Paralegal in United States

Chubb’s Long Island House Counsel Law Firm is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support several attorneys on our general liability team.
Manage discovery process, with attorney supervision, from case referral through trial, draft discovery demands and responses, conduct note of issue reviews, draft legal documents, review files for compliance, arrange independent medical examinations, and conduct trial preparation, including subpoenas.
Perform basic legal and medical research on-line. Communicate and interact with adversaries, clients, and claims to exchange information and documentation relative to the litigation process. Update data and document communications in case file.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to work in high volume and team environment.
3-5 years paralegal experience needed; negligence defense paralegal experience preferred.
Advanced oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe.
Bachelor's degree preferred; certificate of completion from a recognized paralegal training program required.
