Transdev HR Manager in United States
The Manager of Human Resources provides advice and consultation to managers, supervisors and employees in the areas of employee and labor relations. In addition to playing a leading role in recruitment, the HR Manager will be heavily involved in performance management; corrective actions, disciplines, and CBA or policy execution in compliance with local, state and federal employment and labor laws.
Oversee a lean HR team and ensure the delivery of day to day execution in line with larger strategy by developing and improving existing policies, procedures, and execution
Has ownership of reviewing and evolving our existing processes that govern day to day operations with an aim to streamline and improve
Design, coordinate and drive initiatives: Recruiting, Learning & Development, Wellness, Benefits, Employee Engagement, and New Hire Onboarding.
Take responsibility for Human Resource’s KPIs, from data collection to reporting.
Lead investigations, document, and administer any outputs
Manages compliance issues; identifies local compliance risks and pro-actively plans to mitigate risk
Manages the hiring process, which includes, full life cycle recruiting, HRIS entries, and orientation
Serves as the liaison between the unit and the Regional Human Resource Director
Serves as liaison between the company and Union

Education, Licensing, and Certifications :
High school diploma required
Some college coursework in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred
4+ years of HR and/or HR related experience
The ability to think strategically and execute operationally
Must be willing to transition between Manager and do’er
Strong Diagnostic & Decision Quality skills
Experience identifying organizational trends and developing HR solutions to improve performance
Experience interacting directly with multiple business units/ operations
Ability to manage the grey and navigate to a clear and desired outcome
California Employment Law familiarity
Labor relations experience preferred
HRIS, ADP, and investigative experience preferred
- Must submit to a drug testing and background check
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
