IBM Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant/ Architect in United States

Job Description

The Consultants, architects in the Nordic's Practice should be technology and solution advisors with pragmatic experience in a particular security domain. These Consultant/ architects will act in many ways as technology consultants that can speak to the security landscape, architectural models and solutions credibly, and possess the ability discuss and present to senior members of a client team. The ‘Security Consultant/Architect – Identity & Access Management (IAM)’ needs a depth of knowledge and experience in core security domain Identify and Access Management. The Security architect should also be able to speak to the breadth of the landscape at an introductory level as well. The architect will provide subject matter expertise through delivery of workshops, as a member of consulting engagements, an as leader on solution design and deployment projects. The architect should be versant in solution design methodologies and have the ability to generate high quality artifacts such as requirements artifacts, high level and detailed designs and deployment plans.

  • Depth of knowledge in core security domain IAM

  • Experience in the design and deployment of technology and solutions in core domain Identify and Access Management

  • Knowledge of IAM products

  • An understanding across this breadth of technology domains, understanding the inter-relationships between major components.

  • Solid understanding and experience working a structured solution design methodology

The successful consultant will be internal advisor to other IBM consultants and client teams. The consultant will assist in pre-sales, sales, closure, and then organizing the delivery of security consulting services with local teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • IAM product knowledge : IBM IAM suite eg. Security Access Manager/Privileged Identity Manager/Security identity Manager/…

  • At least 3 years’ experience in architectural level design in a particular security domain

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a professional services firm focused on systems integration projects

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in projects related to the core domain

  • Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions

  • Experience working with Security practitioners

  • Readiness for customer related travel 35% inside IMT

  • Fluency in Nordics language & English

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience in working international deployment roles

  • At least 8 years’ experience in professional services focused on systems integration

  • At least 5 years’ experience in working within a particular security domain

  • CISPP, CISM certification
