Unclaimed Property Administrator

KEY OBJECTIVE Associate to provide operational support for Unclaimed Property/State Reporting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * Complete Unclaimed Property state reports by state mandated due date.

  • Ensure all compliance events are executed timely and accurately.

  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing data loads

  • Perform spreadsheet analysis.

  • Ability to create and run queries from UCP software, analysis data as requested.

  • Prepare monthly journals, support reconciliation team as needed.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to supported business groups and external customers. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of end user software - Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Ability to create and analyze reports from data

  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information

  • Problem ownership and personal responsibility.

  • Ability to problem-solve.

  • Extremely good organizational/time management skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and apply sound business judgment

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, accounting or related positions.

  • Strong work ethic, focused on accountability and follow through on tasks and responsibility

  • Analytical ability in data intensive environment.

  • Ability to identify and prioritize dependencies, work effort, and deadlines.

  • Good end-user computer skills, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cognos and/or other SQL tools required.

  • Experience in a customer service environment solving complex problems and diffusing customer anxiety. Strong customer service skills required.

  • Experience in process review and documentation.

  • Comfortable interacting with multiple levels of management and peers.

  • Projects self-confidence and enthusiasm.

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
