Combined Insurance Property Evaluation Resource Center Manager in United States

Chubb Personal Risk Services (PRS) is accepting applications for the Risk Consulting Property Evaluation Resource Center Manager SG26, based in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategic position is responsible for building and evolving the staff, workflow, processes, technologies and operations of our Property Evaluation Resource Center consultants.

  • Requires close working relations with home office and field risk consulting management as well as PRS marketing, underwriting, and service center leaders.

  • Includes communication and collaboration directly with agents and brokers around this new means of completing inspections

  • Accountable for ensuring all inspections completed by the resource center and 3rd party vendor services meet quality and timeliness standards and achieve the overall mission of PRS.

  • Accountable for ensuring all other risk consulting related activities designated to be completed by the resource center meet quality and timeliness standards and achieve the overall mission of PRS.

  • Develop and coach a team of approx. 12 remote employees who are responsible for risk engineering and developing accurate insurance to value of the incoming work.

  • Analyze work volume and data throughout the country to forecast trends and develop strategic action to maximize capacity to avoid process or service delays.

  • Expand our customer experience plan to market Chubb’s competitive advantages and identify the need for additional inspection services based on the client’s possessions and lifestyle.

  • Compile and communicate accurate production and timeliness results for team, as well as ensuring quality reviews at all levels.

  • Collaborate with Risk Consulting Field Managers to proactively prioritize work, discuss field capacity, and address local business strategies.

  • Review processes and workflows to gain efficiencies with our 3rd party vendor process and ensure alignment with our field partners (including CAT management and new services).

  • Manage business relationships with all 3rdparty vendors in accordance with all executed contracts and Chubb PRS business code of conduct and standards

  • Travel on as needed basis with possible overnight travel (<10%).

    Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking and independent decision making ability.

  • Ability to manage processes and workflows using on a variety of data sources to meet client and/or business needs.

  • Innovative, with the ability to facilitate change management.

  • Comfortable collaborating with internal and external clients and business partners, including high net worth personal insurance clients and senior level managers.

  • Proven issue resolution/negotiation skills.

  • Strong customer service and experience focus.

  • People management, leadership, and coaching aptitude.

  • Proven track record of superior time management and the ability to effectively balance competing priorities.

  • Willingness to occasionally travel to visit business partners and or attend regional/national meetings

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications of varying complexity

  • Knowledge of Chubb systems and objectives a plus.

    Educational and other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience working within Chubb Personal Risk Services a plus, but not a requirement

  • Work at the Chubb Whitehouse Station, NJ office but open to flexible work arrangements
