Armstrong Flooring, Inc. (AFI) has a job opportunity for a Canadian Regional Market Manager to be located in the Toronto area. As the Regional Market Manager you will be a member of the sales leadership team driving sales results for your region. Your success in this role is defined by developing strategies and executing those plans with your engaged, high performing team to achieve or exceed budgeted sales through a balance of volume and mix that drive profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities of the Regional Market Manager:
Contribute to the development, execution, and attainment of the regional operating plans/budgets.
Acquire and develop an engaged, high performing team properly aligned around executing priority business initiatives; attract, hire and effectively onboard top talent
Drive accountability through proper Goal cascading, development plans and ongoing coaching
Assist your team with account planning process and measurement to grow existing business and identify new business opportunities.
Expected to lead and collaborate product initiatives and promotions that lead to sales growth and share gain.
Own the regional Spec-Track-Close selling process
Demand Planning monthly forecasts
Price, Volume and mix initiatives to exceed regional performance metrics
Document, plan and execute key business development activities, competitive market intel, regional GAP closures and Distributor Programs
Required Qualifications for the Regional Market Manager:
10+ years of experience in product sales
3+ years of experience in sales management
Functional understanding of product management and channel marketing
Demonstrated ability to develop and sell a vision within the organization and to work effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve results by marshalling and influencing resources from other functional areas
Have an understanding and ability to manage primary drivers of top and bottom-line results and other key business metrics
Ability to gather customer, market and competitive intelligence and translate it into strategic plans, actions, opportunities and forecasts
Excellent time management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills
