Combined Insurance Senior Financial Analyst - Global IT in United States

KEY OBJECTIVE The position is designed for a Financial Analyst supporting the Chubb Global IT Infrastructure organization. The position reports directly to the AVP, Global Infrastructure-Finance which is part of the Global IT Finance Organization. Responsibilities include a key role in delivering the annual and quarterly budgets, and supporting the month end close process for Global IT Infrastructure Operations.

* Participates and responsible for overseeing timely and accurate completion of quarterly and annual budgets for all planning cycles. Ensures proper build of gross expenses, capital and headcount and has a complete understanding of variance drivers. * Responsible for the coordination and daily monitoring of expenses and collaborating with offshore team to coordinate daily activities and proper preparation and posting of all accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset accounts. * Conducts monthly reviews with infrastructure management teams to review expense results and variance expense drivers. Ensures management reporting is completed with high accuracy and delivered in a timely fashion. * Accurate tracking and reporting of all Infrastructure risks and opportunities and major project initiatives impacting expenses. * Provide financial support as needed for special projects. * Ad hoc reporting as required.

  • BS Accounting / Finance
  • 3 years of finance experience (IT related a plus)
  • Proven accountability for decision making; results oriented
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly convey critical information
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and proactively implement processes / procedures to achieve desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize early problems
  • Ability to handle and prioritize a large volume of work in a timely manner while maintaining quality- manage multiple projects / multiple priorities
  • Respond to critical issues with a sense of urgency
