Marsh & McLennan Senior Marketing Manager in United States

The purpose of this role is to build a stronger market presence for, and accelerate the growth of, the Mercer Health & Benefits business by amplifying our content and expanding our digital footprint and demand generation with our broader North America marketing team. You will create rich, personalized and relevant content and digital experiences for our audiences that map to our strategic priorities and drive awareness, acquisition and retention. Your leadership will create engagement and demand collaborating across marketing and sales teams to nurture clients/prospects and close sales, and utilize data-driven analytics to continually optimize content and digital marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Being an exceptionally collaborative self-starter is essential as we think big and operate lean. The ability to learn fast and adapt with agility will be critical so a strong grounding in healthcare and benefits will be a big plus. The role reports to the CMO of U.S. Health & Benefits. This candidate can work in various locations across the Eastern Time Zones Responsibilities:

As a content and data-driven integrated marketing manager, own the brand building and demand generation for the business segment.

Develop clear and compelling messages to differentiate our positioning and solutions in the market segment Create high-quality content and creative formats (white papers, blog posts, case studies, infographics, videos) across customer journey Maniacal focus on quality lead generation: Develop/Optimize content for integrated campaigns across digital channels (website/landing page, blog, search, social, email and paid ads, content syndication, etc) and traditional (webcasts, conferences, etc) to generate quality leads by driving traffic to the website, and converting leads through calls-to-action Implement lead nurturing via email including content and automation that continuously test and improve key messages, engage and convert customers Implement/Refine attribution modeling to optimize content and tactics for lead generation effectiveness and operational efficiency via digital channels Establish closed loop analytics with sales to understand how our content and demand generation activity turns into customers; continually refine our process to convert opportunities into the active pipeline Develop, maintain and improve the website experience and results.

Lead the strategy and development of website experience in alignment with business priorities

Develop and optimize content for the website and amplification across digital channels to build digital presence and awareness (blog, search, social media, 3rd party sites, etc) Build a dashboard and analyze content performance and audience behaviors / engagement in response to creatives and messaging on the website and digital channels (organic and paid) Develop a content management system, and implement projects / ideas to ensure continuous improvement Deliver strong and collaborative project management and leadership that fosters a culture of creativity, execution excellence, and accountability.

Ability to work closely, openly and productively with team members across marketing, Mercer colleagues, and third parties Clear communication of work being done, deliverables and timeframes so other team members can manage their agendas Project management and co-ordination with other colleagues who will assist with the delivery of various services, assets, and outcomes QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor Degree or higher, with major in marketing, business, technology /digital innovation preferable.

8-10 years of experience in content marketing and digital marketing Skills:

Demonstrated skills in B2B message development, content creation for all mediums, digital marketing, and sales support

Strong writing and communication skills

Proven track record in employing digital content and channels to drive lead generation and sales, and analytics for continuous improvement

Excellent project management skills with strong orientation toward execution and implementation

Ability to target new channels and develop new markets

Ability to adapt to market and client needs with agility and flexibility

Ability to engage partnerships, sponsorships and channel activity

Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is required

Experience marketing to midsize businesses is preferred

Healthcare and/or Benefits experience is preferred
