Position: Software Architect
Primary responsibilities include:
Interpret business requirements into a workable solution that will adhere to our existing standards and technologies.
Design, develop and maintain existing cloud-based web applications and other mission-critical applications as needed.
Document and communicate software solutions to the Engineering, and Business Development teams.
Participate in software design discussions, code review sessions and daily SCRUM meetings.
Contribute to the ongoing development of our mission-critical applications.
Establish realistic goals and deadlines with the Engineering team.
Perform initial unit testing on any developed code, provide initial test plans and walkthroughs to the team.
Assist in the creation and development of deployable images for a production environment
Assist in coding for internal product configurator tool
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering with 3-5 years of experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Experience with the following technologies:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles
Experience with the following a plus:
Prior experience with AGILE methodologies
Development management using JIRA
Exposure to MongoDB
Creation and execution of test plans
Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure
