Combined Insurance Strategic Project Analyst in United States

Chubb’s Personal Risk Services (PRS) Operations division provides industry leading service to clients, agents and internal business partners. Operations Solutions, in particular, is responsible for assisting in the reporting and analysis of critical Operational metrics. The role of Strategic Projects Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the analysis and implementation of assigned projects that provide solutions to internal business partners in accordance with their strategic goals and corporate vision. The Strategic Projects Analyst will provide solutions, requirements analysis and coordinate with senior leadership across varying departments to ensure the effectiveness and timeliness of initiatives while ensuring clear project outcomes.
Support approved strategic projects to identify, define and document business needs and enable project implementation through:· Collaborating and facilitating meetings with key stakeholders across the PRS organization to define and understand business needs · Setting and documenting project objectives, requirements, success criteria and milestones in coordination with project management or independently · Investigating and thoroughly answering critical questions, ensuring timely follow up on all action items · Leading/adhering to project management process to ensure documentation of project is complete, approved and maintained throughout the project lifecycle · Obtaining sign off from stakeholders prior to work being completed · Conducting pilot programs and/or testing on all projects including the development of test cases, tracking and management of secondary testing by business owners · Providing support to business owners during the transition from project implementation to long-term business ownership · Identifying and escalating issues or discrepancies to ensure they are considered and remediated · Ensuring regular communication and updates are provided to Project Manager and/or Leadership teams · Assisting with financial analysis of project requests to determine ROI and feasibility · Developing and maintaining reports that measure the quality of all identified solutions · Evaluating effectiveness of process improvement, analyzing results achieved vs. results expected*__*
Competencies:· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated research skills and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently · Analytical skills; hands-on experience, ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information and draw conclusions · Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and direct multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines · Ability to problem-solve and operate effectively within a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Skills / Experience:· Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited college/university · 3 years of analyst experience preferred; Insurance or Financial services experience a plus · Proficiency with: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook
