Lead Lab Account Management team to build a leading position in the community hospital Lab market. This role requires a strong leader that is able to develop the best sales team, sales processes and winning culture to take McKesson to a growing market leader in the community hospital market. This will require establishing what is required in the sales process and developing a talent plan, training and management system to fully penetrate this customer base. Capable of leading change, resilient and results driven. This is a remote work at home opportunity with travel up to 60%. Candidates should live near a major U.S. airport hub.
Goal attainment. Drives performance through sales force to achieve assigned goals. Develops goals and monitors progress in order to provide timely feedback
Develop sales process and associated sales tools and training methods to achieve long term sales goals and optimal performance through Inside and Field sales channels.
Builds key relationships with customers and vendors in order to enhance profitability.
Team development – attracting, selecting, providing development opportunities, assessing and providing feedback, retaining quality talent. Identifies professional development opportunities and provides training necessary to improve performance. Focuses on innovative ways to attract and retain
10 years of healthcare sales industry
5 years of management
Superior people leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
Proven track record of success directingsales strategy and processes
Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrix environment
Proven track record of engaging C-suite and other senior management
Demonstrated ability of consistently exceeding sales plans and MBOs
Financial acumen (compare quarterly trends, year to year growth, margin erosion, etc)
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Hospital experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and CRM tools
Ability to travel daily within assigned region
Building strong culture of collaboration and teamwork
Four-year degree in Business required
Mix of office and field based work
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
