Architect/Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of Chubb’s Intelligent Process Automation program, model and instrument adoption for an effective design and development of Intelligent Automation solutions across the enterprise and their integration into targeted business ecosystems. The candidate must have strong development skills and be delivery-focused with good financial industry knowledge. The candidate will assist in the design, development, and deployment of new products as well as day-to-day level 3 support of existing system. Responsibilities * Solution Design and develop industry-leading innovative intelligent process automation solution using Robotic Process Automation and Congnitive automation technology and tools * Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle * Rapidly conceptualize and develop cutting edge solutions using latest innovative technology working closely with Product Owners * Work with structured and unstructured data for building intelligent bots using rule based and/or cognitive automation techniques * Participate in rapid development to support innovation through R&D and business delivery * Act as an enabler of Agile and DevOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams * Respond to and resolve production issues


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science is desirable * A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software development using Linux, Core Java, C/C , Python, NoSQL and Relational Database * Required technical skills: Core Java and/or C#, Python, SQL * Desirable technical skills: Knowledge of math/statistical/machine learning libraries * Experienced in Machine Learning model implementation, integration insight, model efficacy and lifcycle management
* Strong understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, and understanding of API/Microservices Architecture * Good financial industry knowledge * Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred) * Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, web server, application server, source control system, unit-testing tool and defect management tool * Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies * Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail. * Excellent planning, documentation and problem solving skills. * Technical leadership and management ability and drive-for-results * Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture
