Combined Insurance Workers Compensation Product Analyst in United States

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Management in providing technical guidance to all Workers Compensation business units relative to the development and maintenance of WC rate algorithms, rate levels, classifications and forms/endorsement changes, ensuring we are in regulatory compliance.

  • Participate in WC related rate subject meetings involving affected business units and Actuarial.

  • Perform testing for review by Product Management to sign off on changes before they are moved to production by Chubb systems or any vendor system.

  • Perform research on various product line issues related to filings, state requirements and business unit help desk inquiries.

  • Provide back-up assistance related to the submission of WC filings by compiling and reviewing all data required, which could include submitting the filing through SERFF or other appropriate tools, to the various bureaus or insurance departments.

  • Provide updates and information to the business units and internal department staff regarding status of rate and rating rule filings.

  • Provide updates and respond to inquiries regarding the implementation of changes made to the system.

  • Provide recommendations in developing new processes and workflows

  • Provide assistance on management directed projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent insurance industry experience.

  • Knowledge of basic insurance concepts.

  • Good quantitative and problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work in a team-based collaborative setting.

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and a positive attitude.
