Summary:

  1. The Navy ERP SME shall provide in depth business and technical knowledge and experience in Navy ERP. Demonstrate effective communications nd decision-making skills relative to SSP;s financial business processes. In addition, the FIAR Analyst shall provide Over-the-Shoulder Support to the client to advise and resolve Navy ERP related issues through analysis and recommendations of corrective actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Provide Over-the-Shoulder ERP Support (OSS) to end users at the client site.

  • Perform high level functional support for end users.

  • Respond remotely to incidents submitted by end users at the Washington Navy Yard site

  • Provide remote support to Navy ERP operations if capacity permits.

  • Engage external support operations (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) as required for problem resolution.

  • Provide Navy ERP financial documents and reports for analysis.

  • Assist with the preparation for audit by providing material related reports from Navy ERP.

  • Provide Navy ERP training as needed.

  • Assess the results of testing and training as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Finance, Auditing, or Business Operations, preferred.

  • Five (5) plus years of progressive experience participating in business and/or financial analysis services and related projects

  • Previous experience supporting Department of the Navy, preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in DoD/DON entitlement and disbursement processes, systems, policies and practices.

  • Strong oral/written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Viso)
