Company Job Title: Operations Manager

Reports To: Program Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular

Summary:

The Operations Manager has full responsibility for the full range of matters pertaining to sustaining assured delivery of services under the contract and is the primary point of contact within the program for all enterprise operational services and collaboration with other service providers. The Operations Manager will support the Enterprise Management Services contract for a government customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all operations-related processes

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of technical services under the contract

  • Guide and direct performance of contract personnel to ensure timely delivery to customers removing any obstacles to superior performance.

  • Understand and work to provide the services outlined in the performance work statement in accordance with service level agreements.

  • Foster an environment of collaborative communication with all internal and external partners including the operations centers and the enterprise service center.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Financial, Management, Computer Science, Communications, Engineering or IT-related discipline

  • Experience:

  • Leading, managing and overseeing large-scale enterprise operations and support teams for a minimum of 5 years

  • Managing globally dispersed teams with responsibility for service operations across a large-scale, distributed enterprise IT environment (>20,000 users).

  • Enterprise operations, including 5 years management of an IT operations center.

  • Utilizing enterprise ITSM toolsets, such as 545 BMC Remedy or Service .

  • TS/SCI Clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to travel

  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise IT operations with emphasis in NGA or IC managed services.

  • ITIL v3 Intermediate or Expert certification

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
