Chenega Professional and Technical Services, LLC (CPTS) is seeking a Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for the programmatic, financial and customer relationship success of programs at NASA. The PM will lead the team to successfully execute the program building strong customer, staff, and industry relationships, leading the collaboration necessary across teams, broader Chenega organizations and Teammates to ensure program success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing program risks and opportunities program milestones achieved through adherence to program master plans and schedules.

  • Developing/executing corrective action plans to mitigate internal or customer identified issues.

  • Delivering effective control systems and reporting for accurately processing change and controlling in-scope performance of program functional task elements such as operations, development, engineering, procurement, quality control, logistics, safety, security, and administrative functions.

  • Working closely with and building relationships with the NASA Center customer community.

  • Building strong morale within Team Chenega (including all teammates).

  • Participating in developing of future strategies, and sponsoring their transformation, particularly the delivery of corporate “reachback.”

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, business administration or related field preferred

  • MBA or CPA preferred

  • PMP preferred

  • Fifteen (15) or more years of technical and lead experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership of IT personnel toward award or accomplishment.

  • Experience with the program management of a large NASA Enterprise IT Service Delivery program.

  • Experiences in NASA mission services.

  • Demonstrated experience in workplace conflict management.

  • Demonstrated experience establishing teaming relationships/partnerships and oversight of teammates.

  • Understanding of the NASA acquisition and contract processes.

  • Understanding of Risk and Opportunity management processes.

  • Understanding of NASA program financial and business processes and metrics .

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning .

  • Demonstrated experience in staff and customer Team building.

  • Must have, and maintain, a valid driver’s license.

  • Good organizational and planning skills.

  • Good stakeholder Communication skills.

  • Strong staff leadership skills.

  • Strong staff development skills.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
