Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Governance, a critical component of Wells Fargo’s Ethics Oversight team, provides centralized coordination and oversight of all anti-bribery and corruption matters enterprise-wide, including bribery and corruption risk exposures and risk management activities. Under the direction of the Head of Anti-Bribery & Corruption Governance, participates in developing, implementing, and monitoring Wells Fargo’s global risk-based program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements. These responsibilities include providing support for the program’s general oversight, risk assessment, expense review, and training activities; assisting in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls, and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external audits or examinations; participating in consultations with business units, compliance teams, and other components to identify issues requiring corrective action plans; and supporting production of periodic and special reports for senior management, including identification and analysis of emerging bribery and corruption trends and recommended strategies and responses.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
