IBM GWAC COE Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM GWAC Center of Excellence (COE) maintains a robust list of Best In Class (BIC), Tier 2 and 3 contract vehicles designated by OMB in its portfolio and is searching for a Program Manager (PM) who will contribute to the growth of IBM GBS Federal’s pipeline and upcoming new/recompete Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicles.

The PM’s responsibility is to budget, train and equip resources to accomplish all vehicle-level requirements that will meet and/or exceed government and IBM GBS Federal expectations. Primary tasks include CDRL reporting, marketing the vehicle, small business sub-contracting goals, PMRs, CPARs and interaction with the government customers. A successful PM will have a strategic approach with a solid tactical follow-up.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Able to establish a healthy relationship with the government program management offices to support IBM GBS Federal’s business development and capture goals.

  • Knowledge & experience along with strong communication and presentation skills to market IBM GWAC COE’s portfolio of acquisition vehicles to internal IBM account teams, service line leaders, and senior leadership.

  • Able to maintain a close working relationship with government assisted acquisition offices within GSA AAS, NIH and etc.

  • Ability to spearhead activities such as marketing outreach programs, meeting or exceeding small business sub-contracting goals, insures successful CPARs, and represents IBM at government event such as PMRs and conferences.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant Experience;

  • Understanding federal procurement business cycle;

  • Familiarity with FAR, specifically 16 and 8;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;

  • Familiar with, Bgov, and GovWin and vehicle specific portals
