IBM ISV Ecosystem Market Expansion, Technical Sales Architect in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

As part of the IBM Z Ecosystem team, you will work with ISVs and clients as they transform organizations and entire industries. The Business Partner Technical Sales Architect guides functional objectives or technologies to grow ISV client acquisition and growth on IBM Z and LinuxONE. Your role is to provide ongoing technical /operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conduct special projects including technical optimization and positioning of ISV solutions on Z. As our solutions evolve, so will our joint IBM and ISV value proposition to our end users. The technical sales architect is accountable for ISV growth on IBM Z through cultivation of joint ISV and IBM Z client engagements.

You will actively:

  • Engage ISVs and clients to develop trust and credibility

  • Help ISVs and clients grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with the business and technical value of ISV solutions running on IBM Z and LinuxONE.

  • Partner with ISVs and clients through action, demonstrating your technical expertise to assist your sales counterparts and maintain shared satisfaction, mutual success.

  • Deliver industry-centric ISV technology solutions to clients of all sizes and markets

  • Work in a changing environment where no two days are ever the same

  • Work with the client account team and drive revenue through in-depth, complex technical demonstrations, designing solutions, technical evaluations, and/or proof-of-concepts

  • Be ready to interact with a variety of other smart and highly motivated people daily

Please note: this is not a coding, development, or extensive hands-on role. This role will involve technical consulting with clients and ISVs, helping them design technical solutions.

This position requires a challenger mentality; a real passion for client success, sales achievement, and daily collaboration with clients and other IBM teammates.
