IBM Iteration Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Your Role and Responsibilities

A strong Iteration Manager to manage the development team of project Sprout with focus on the integrations between WorkHuman and other IBM systems & data stores (inbound + outbound) by adopting effective agile practice. The Iteration Manager will work closely with solution architect, developers, change management, business offering managers and product owners to deliver the technical solutions to enable the business capabilities based on the backlog prioritization.

Project Sprout is to consolidate all performance related functions, that are currently solutioned separately, into one systme, including: goal management, performance management, feedback, low performance management and project assessment. It will also require seamless integration with IBM's rewards & recognition system.

Leads the technical development team to deliver the solution by working in an agile and collaborative environment. Increases team efficiencies, motivates team members, spins and argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. Guides the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices to get the most out of self organization.

Location: Soutbury, CT OR Raleigh, NC- relocation is NOT available


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years project management and Agile / Scrum Master experiences are must

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge in HR talent domain, such as performance management, career deveopment, and R&R is a BIG PLUS
