Looking for a Senior JAVA Developer to support tasks in Software Development areas involving: application programming, testing, and documentation and delivery. The candidate will perform ongoing development, maintenance and support of JAVA-based systems hosted primarily on Linux or Windows platforms. The candidate will provide technical expertise in identifying and implementing rust-replacement modernized applications to meet changing business needs, including: migrating existing legacy applications and legacy platforms to multi-tier EA compliant solutions; generating formal requirements documents; assisting in market research of COTS products; designing, developing and testing JAVA-based solutions and integration of COTS products.

This is a senior developer role, candidates should be self-starters capable of taking written requirements and creating application code in an independent fashion with minimal supervision.

The candidate shall be proficient with a Bachelors degree in related field and minimum 8+ years’ experience (additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree) in the following skill sets in order to complete this task. Proficiently is defined as practical application in a work environment with demonstrable skills in the following:

  • JSF/Primefaces, JAVA

  • JCR

  • SPRING

  • JPA/HIBERNATE

  • ORACLE

  • Familiarity in both a Linux and Windows environment

A PLUS to candidates possessing the following:

  • Working experience with Adobe AEM Assets or Forms

  • Current valid IRS Public Trust MBI or ability to obtain

  • Past experience as an Oracle DBA or Windows or Linux SA
