Marsh & McLennan Portfolio Manager - Aircraft Finance (AFIC) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Portfolio Manager Aircraft Finance (AFIC) Marsh’s Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium (“AFIC”) team is growing and seeking a Portfolio Manager to join the team. The AFIC Portfolio Manager is a pivotal role and key contact person working extensively with clients and monitoring the credit-worthiness of the AFIC portfolio. The ideal individual will need aviation credit experience, very strong organizational skills, very strong communication skills, and very strong attention to detail. This is an individual contributor role working in the Washington, D.C. Marsh office alongside other members of the Marsh AFIC team. What can you expect? Flexible work opportunities for work/life balance Tuition Reimbursement plan per year and participation in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan We will Count on you to: • Supporting and maintaining regular monitoring/outreach with AFIC airline/leasing company customers • Preparing credit analysis and reviews for AFIC airline/leasing company customers as needed (primarily focused on those that aren’t being reviewed in connection with a new financing) • Preparing periodic updates on the AFIC portfolio as agreed with the AFIC insurers • Preparing and sending certain information requests to AFIC’s airline and leasing company customers • Touchpoint for certain communications with AFIC’s airline and leasing company customers, with the AFIC insurers, and with other Marsh AFIC colleagues • Performing daily news searches on AFIC’s airline and leasing company customers/following up on news items with respect to AFIC’s airline and leasing company customers • Managing the relationship between AFIC and Oliver Wyman CAVOK (or other third-party technical advisors) • Managing third-party data subscriptions • Preparing and updating marketing materials as needed • Other miscellaneous work products to support the AFIC offering What you Need to Have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 3-7 years of aviation industry experience in asset/portfolio management roles MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Must be organized and able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have excellent critical thinking skills Must have keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix team environment What Makes You Stand Out?
