We are looking to hire an undergraduate student to support our Interior Design team for Europe on a 12-month internship. An excellent opportunity for an undergraduate student with a small amount of practical experience, who is looking to propel their career within a world leading Hospitality Company. You will support on a range of design projects for our hotels across Europe reporting to the Director of Director for Europe with an opportunity to learn on the job, and gain practical understanding of interior design in the hospitality.

What will I be doing?
This role includes generic design support across the design team and will allow you to own and manage your own small projects over the course of your internship.
Main accountabilities for the intern role can be broken down as follows;
•Supporting with design for projects across Europe, including new developments, conversions and renovations of existing hotels.
•Working closely with the Director of Design to establish design direction and key brand identity elements specific to Europe.
•Preparing design narratives and material boards.
•Managing the fixtures, furnishings and equipment (FF&E) library.
•Managing the project image library for EMEA.
What are we looking for?
An undergraduate student currently working towards a interior design related degree with a applicants strong desire to progress a career in the hotel industry. European language in addition to English would be advantageous although not essential.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering projects to the expected Hilton standards as well as be:
•Proactive with a strong willingness to learn, prepared to work unsupervised or with minimal guidance
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly communicate via email and powerpoint
•Good at planning, keeping records and attention to detail
•Passionate about driving the right first-time approach to project development
•Strong in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
•Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills
•Above all you must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, be proactive and resilient.
This is a 12 month internship starting in July 2019, so ideally you will be an undergraduate currently working towards a bachelor’s degree.
