About the role

Based at our Port Hedland branch, this role reports in to the Operations Manager. In the role of Service Advisor , you will be hands on with servicing customers, technicians and supervisors. This is a very busy role where you will need to be able to multi task and prioritise your workload constantly. You will deal with technical enquiries, plan jobs, administer invoices & accounts, assist the remote technicians with ordering parts and booking in jobs, organise payments, order & check parts, book in vehicles for services and generally assist with the smooth running of the jobs from open to close.

About you

We are looking for someone who is focused on providing world class customer service, with a solid technical background. To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated technical experience

  • Have first class customer service experience from an automotive, truck or powergen background

  • Be a solid team player

  • Be highly organised with a strong eye for detail

  • Have a professional telephone manner

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Have a good understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Be familiar with financial processes / accounts and purchase orders

  • Have intermediate skills in Word and Excel

  • Have the ability to multi-task and help other team members

  • Have a positive, upbeat attitude and be proactive

  • Have an awareness of health and safety in the workplace
