We are looking for a hybrid Analytical / Strategic Thinker to join our Aetna Digital Team.
The Strategic Product Analytics Manger for Aetna Digital, within Aetna Consumer Health & Services will play a critical role in transforming Aetna s consumer-facing digital products into a best-in-class consumer experience. The primary responsibility of this individual is to translate high-level strategy into objectives & metrics, develop measurement processes & analytics and present to audiences ranging from senior executives to product development teams to customers. This role will also serve as a key advisor to product teams to ensure development efforts are focused on achieving the group's goals.
Aetna Digital, a business unit under Aetna Consumer Health & Services, has a mandate to build a market-leading integrated consumer experience to revolutionize health and wellness. Our teams mission is to fundamentally change the way consumers access and utilize products and services from their insurance company. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes.
· Direct the work of centralized teams providing support in alignment with the group's objectives.· Uses deep understanding of metrics & objectives to heavily influence design of products & services.\· Presents to internal/external customers, constituents and business partners. · Works with advisers from key functional areas to understand potential project impact on the organization, align project work, and execute activities accordingly.· Oversees the analysis, planning, design and development being performed by project teams to support accurate maintenance of support systems for business areas.· Negotiates resources in peer organizations to meet high priority department objectives.· Manages the overall delivery of information and transaction products and activities by ensuring the project team uses consistent definitions and methodologies where appropriate.· Responsible for managing, directing and planning one complex or multiple less complex projects.· Proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope and/or budget variances.· Leverages strong understanding of business strategy into reporting and analysis that is closely tied to high-level objectives.· Conducts thoughtful, accurate analyses with support of company's broader data science organization.· Asks well-informed, thoughtful questions and answers with both regular and ad-hoc analytic reporting.· Strong business as well as systems knowledge and can perform reasonability checks.· Influences change or enhancements to business processes, policies and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and access.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
5-7 years of demonstrated leadership.
5-7 years of project/program/process management experience
5-7 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
