Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Marketing Communications Specialist. This is a challenging, high responsibility, creative role, leading the development and delivery of our communication strategy for the EMEA region. You will work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders to come up with creative and exciting solutions to increase our brand awareness and ensure continued growth of the business.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Create engaging marketing collateral that is bespoke to the needs of regional stakeholders, including the translation of content, using global marketing campaign themes.

  • Develop PR campaigns to increase the publicity and coverage gained, buildinggood working relationships with Cummins agencies and local trade publications to ensure maximum exposure is achieved for each campaign.

  • Promote the Cummins Brand, understanding how global brand standards apply across a wide range of assets and media to ensure consistent representation of the Cummins brand throughout Europe.

  • Create digital marketing campaigns using the marketing email automation tool to identify and target regional customer sales opportunities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to help identify customers and sales prospects by market segment and location.

  • Prepare campaigns, including design artwork, and post-campaign analysis.

  • Project manage all aspects of Cummins European customer magazine, from concept to delivery

  • Lead responsibility within the DBU Europe marketing team to support the regional aftermarket requirements within the business, including supporting key groups

  • Provide branding support to dealers across Europe across all media, as required, including signage, facilities, promotions and merchandise. Co-ordinate support activities as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience creating the full mix of marketing collateral including; brochures, promotional material, advertising, dealer directories, specific offers, banners and display graphics for events, exhibitions and conferences

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders at all levels

  • Outstanding skills in written communication and grammar, with the ability to present information in a clear, simple way, adapting the style for different audiences and media

  • To be skilled at editing and proof-reading with an eye for detail

  • A highly influential individual with the ability to encourage buy -in from senior stakeholders for your ideas in regards to PR and marketing campaigns

  • A deep understanding of the importance of brand integrity and ensuring that this is maintained in every campaign

  • A passion for measurability with a bag of great ideas on how PR can demonstrate real impact on the business

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • A degree in Marketing or equivalent would be beneficial for this position

UK Benefits and Package

  • Salary between £38,161 - £42,401

  • 8% variable bonus, paid annually

  • Up to 7% pension contributions from Cummins

  • Private health care for you, partner and children under 21

  • 25 days holidays plus stats
