Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Credit Risk Analytics Consultant 2 position will focus on the Consumer Real Estate portfolio including both loan and line products as well as owned and serviced accounts. This position will be part of the External Reporting segment of the Business Intelligence Management Reporting team. External Reporting is responsible for quarterly regulatory reporting for both Wells Fargo Corporate and Wells Fargo REIT with the reports produced used in publically disclosed 10Q and 10K publications. An understanding of credit metrics associated with consumer Real Estate is required. In addition, the successful candidate will become an expert in the CLRTY Risk Database and will assist other users with coding and research. Outside of quarterly reporting, responsibilities include ad hoc assignments, various projects related to either Real Estate or the CLRTY database, and assistance with internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, or engineering and 3+ years of risk reporting experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • SQL or SAS experience

  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
