Job description

The Client Onboarding job is a post-sales role designed to orient and educate new customers to IBM Cloud, The Client Onboarding Representative will contact new customers, discuss their IBM Cloud solution with them, uncover & address any challenges or obstacles, conduct customer enablement activities and determine additional products and services that would complement customer’s cloud environment. Client Onboarding also involves uncovering opportunities for additional adoption and consumption of The IBM Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Onboard customers within their first 90 days.

  • Ensure your customers' success with diligent support, response, and service

  • Proactively contact and communicate with customer.

  • Develop customer education content.

  • Assist & orient new customers with IBM Cloud.

  • Discover (upsell & cross-sell) opportunities for additional products & services

  • Solution and quote new products & services

  • Issue resolution for problems impacting the customer experience

  • Provides customers with technical product advice during post-sales discussions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be able to demonstrate previous proven sales, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills in a technology field.

  • Demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated customer service and technical experience.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Japanese Speaker required

  • English Speaker required
