Oracle Public Sector Hardware Sales Representative - Oracle Federal / Civilian Account Executive – Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions in Westchester, Illinois

This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

Works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities. Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals. May travel frequently.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.

Public Sector Hardware Sales Representative - Oracle Federal / Civilian Account Executive Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions

The successful candidate will have experience calling in to USDA, Dept of Interior, HUD, GNMA, The Tribes, and other Federal / Civilian accounts as well as experience selling public sector hardware server systems such as Engineered Systems and Server Platforms, both on-premise and Cloud-based. Product Portfolio includes Enterprise-class Private/Public Cloud solutions, x86/SPARC hardware and Engineered Systems: Exadata, SuperCluster, & Big Data Appliance. Proficiency in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, OS, Database, Applications, HPC, Storage, and Virtualization, IaaS and Cloud

The successful candidate will sell integrated solutions into existing Federal / Civilian accounts and net new business units within accounts. Leverage resources including partners, business development teams and marketing campaigns to generate demand and create pipeline within the territory. Manage sales cycle from opportunity discovery to closure. Participate in leading account planning Go to Market Sessions.

Candidates should be skilled in discovering compliance-based issues, budgets, contracts, regulations, and procurement cycles. Experience in Complex Deal/Capture Management Expertise; Finance, Pricing and Contracts Background a plus.

The successful candidate will have met or exceeded their quota history.

This is a Hunter and individual contributor role.

_Job Requirements_

  • Previous 5 years experience selling into Federal Civilian market place in a business-to-business environment

  • 5 Years Federal sales experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and execute upon agreed strategy

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are staples of the position

  • Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company standard CRM tools

  • Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business

  • Dynamic personality with a willingness to learn about cutting-edge technology

  • Prospect and develop cold calls and leads in to customers

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment, collaboration and leadership

  • Experience translating technical sales into business value beyond IT

  • Meet revenue targets and achieve quotas

  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
