Job Summary:

The role is located in Wilmington, DE acting as an assistant to the President of Comcast Capital and his/her staff. This individual will also be responsible for providing an efficient and professional office environment. The Administrative Assistant will be expected to perform administrative duties such as typing, processing mail, answering phones, stocking kitchen supplies and ordering lunch. Maintains necessary office supplies and ensures various equipment is properly configured, installed, and maintained. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures. Work is subject to review by others.

Core Responsibilities:

-Screens telephone calls, visitors, and letters in a professional and courteous manner; answers routine questions and furnishes information

-Greets guests at the office entrance and assists with building security access

-Assures the planning and coordination of the executive's calendar of events; schedules appointments and prepares detailed itineraries, complete with travel accommodations, etc.

-Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of internal meetings and presentations; gathers and prepares necessary materials, equipment or other logistics

-Maintains the inventory of all supplies and stocks all kitchen, office and pantry supplies on a daily basis; occasional refrigerator clean out

-Assists in planning of department-wide events, coordinating with external vendors, manages invitations, and maintains event budgets

-As needed, supports the team by preparing letters, routing documents for signatures, scanning, copying, emailing, filing and overnight package preparation

-Assists with administrative and special event projects as needed

-Encourages and cultivate an enthusiastic, positive culture at the office

-Assures the maintenance of travel and expense account and records, including form preparation and figure reconciliation

-Prepares Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents as required

Requirements:

-Minimum two years' experience in an administrative assistant role

-Comcast experience a plus

-Strong knowledge of desktop tools such as the Microsoft Suite of Office products and electronic mail systems

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a "can do" approach to resolution

-Sharp attention to detail with the ability to anticipate problems to prevent delays and ensure success (i.e. scheduling conflicts, meeting attendees out of the office, etc.)

-Practices good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality of sensitive information regarding company and department activities

-Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize effectively

-Ability to work harmoniously with other employees at various organizational levels

-Excellent communication skills with co-workers and management

-Self-motivated and personable with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work

nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Specification:

- High School or Equivalent
