If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Shop Supervisor in Winnipeg, MB . Reporting to the Service Manager , you will be responsible for supervising employees who install, service, and repair equipment and machinery.
Your responsibilities may include:
Work directly with the Winnipeg Branch Service Writers, Service Advisors, Technicians, Service Manager and Parts Professionals.
Provide Direct Supervision and Technical Support to our Technicians.
Communicate and Manage all Aspects of the Repair with the customer, while working to resolve any customer concerns immediately.
Work with our Service Writers in ensuring a firm understanding of what is being described as a Customer Complaint and the info collected in the Interview Wizard.
Work Collaboratively with other Supervisors while entertaining options to utilize all Service Personnel to meet our Business Demands.
Work effectively with internal and external customers.
Provide coaching and feedback to individual Service Technicians.
Provide performance reviews and opportunities for professional growth.
Participate in continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes in line with changing customer expectations/organizational goals.
Monitor the status of open repairs with technicians, addressing issues that impact completion of the repair plan in the time quoted to customers.
Develop strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication.
Management Meetings may be held at times which could require Supervisors to stay late or come in early to ensure an effective Supervisor Meeting.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Technician.
Valid Drivers License and a Clean Drivers Abstract.
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.
Supervisory experience in a Shop environment is strongly preferred.
Strong Engine Diagnostic skills.
Proven experience working with Cummins products.
Our Pre-Employment Background Screening process consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.
Specific Tickets / Licenses are checked as required, and Drivers Abstracts are required for any position where driving is part of the job.
Please Note: Some Travel may be required to attend Meetings. This position may incur OT as Service Requirements dictate to support work.
