Be a key contributor and leader of Critical Facilities and Environments Program deployment including developing, directing and managing all aspects of a regional maintenance program specifically for the Silas Center located at 100 Sunnynoll Court, Winston Salem, North Carolina. Establishes uniform and consistent procedures to assure safe, cost effective and efficient operation of the region's real estate assets and facilities. Manages related contractual agreements to ensure facility meets all critical facilities maintenance and design guidelines. Incumbent must be available and accessible at all times twenty four hours, seven days a week.

Additional key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage performance of assigned areas of responsibility including services delivered by 3rd Party Resource teams and managing internal staff.

  • Understand the engineering design and operation aspects of a facilities Critical Environment systems and equipment. Ability to immediately recognize system design shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations.

  • Exercise the usual authority of a manager including the selection and development of staff.

  • Assists the Regional Property Manager as required.

  • Manage various projects for the site.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of corporate property maintenance experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of data center: critical facilities systems: electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

  • Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions

  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Real Property Administrator Designation (RPA)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • PAC2000 experience

  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
