The primary responsibility of this position is to grow clinic patient volumes and enhance the overall customer experience for CareNow Urgent Care clinics within a designated market. . This role will focus on fostering strong relations with the community and all grassroots marketing initiatives. This person will be responsible for defining and executing a grassroots marketing plan which includes developing local partnerships and participating in community events.


  1. Assist in the development and execution of grassroots marketing plans for the CareNow Urgent Care clinics

  2. Event management, including identifying community events, developing logistics leading up to the event and execution day-of

  3. Connect with local partners and build relationships to help promote the urgent care brand and clinics

  4. Work with the CareNow Marketing to build and monitor online profiles/social media sites on a daily basis, ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for growth and enhancement

  5. Work with the nearest HCA hospital marketing and community outreach resources to take advantage of co-marketing opportunities

  6. Identify opportunities to activate local online influencers (i.e bloggers, Twitter, Instagram) and work with the team on execution

  7. Track grassroots performance metrics and provide regular progress reporting to leadership

  8. Keep pace with social marketing trends and tools

  9. Assist with creation and execution of traditional marketing activities, including direct mail, print advertising, collateral development and media relations

    2. Must read, understand, and adhere to all HCA Gulf Coast Physician Care policies and procedures

    3. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement


    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, advertising or equivalent with 2 years of experience

    • Experience with community relations, event management and sales

    • Exceptional communication (verbal, listening and writing) skills

    • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple duties and events simultaneously

    • Knowledge of social media platforms and how they are used

    • Candidate should be a regular reader of industry related sites and blogs

    • An appreciation for the health care industry and services

    • Experience in the social media space, for personal or professional use

    • Excellent analytical and creative writing skills
