Currently we are looking for NAS Storage Specialist

As a Storage Administrator you will participate in project teams for storage related changes: perform feasibility analysis, identify risks. Analyze alternative technology solutions, On this position you will translate agreed requirements into system specifications, coordinate installation and integration activities of NAS boxes. As NAS Specialist you will prepare new technical documents updates and review existing. You will also define monitoring methods for storage infrastructure, perform quality and performance measurements for the storage and backup environments.

Your tasks will also contribute to development of BC/DR plans and scenarios and participation in testing, daily operations: responding to incidents, performing service request fulfilment;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 5 years of experience:

  • NetApp storage devices: initial configuration, storage expansion, ONTAP upgrade, deep troubleshooting, SVM customisation;

  • SAN networking (Brocade);

  • At least 2 years of experience:

  • LINUX / UNIX (AIX) installation, tuning, troubleshooting;

  • Windows Server 2008 -2012: installation, configuration, virtualization, ;

  • VMware vSphere administration: concept of datastores, VM snapshots, backup mechanisms, high-availability;

  • Database administration: MySQL/MSSQL/Oracle administration;

  • Networks: IP routing, L2 switching, VLAN tagging, network security;

  • AD and LDAP: AD architecture, LDAP schemas, user policies;

  • Fluent English - spoken and written

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Knowledge of TOGAF methodology;

  • At least foundation certification in any Service Management framework – ITIL, COBIT, IBM SMF;

  • Project management methods awareness (any of these) : PMP, PRICE2, IBM WWP
