Job Description

Would you like to lead Beacon's focus on increasing adoption of Beacon's digital platform within Michigan's builder and contractor customers? Do you have the business savvy and the technical sales background necessary to help establish Beacon as a key exterior building material distributor?

As an E-Commerce Sales leader you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of our emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration into builder/contractor accounts and internally thru our branch locations within our service geography. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the building material market. The ideal candidate will possess a technology and sales background that enables them to engage customers up to the CEO/President/Owner level.

He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on monthly/quarterly targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share

• Meet or exceed quarterly targets.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive plan.

• Accelerate customer adoption.

• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.

• Work with branch teams to extend reach & drive adoption

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

• Ensure customer satisfaction.

• Expect moderate travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Technology related sales and/or business development experience.

• Sales experience working with technology selling solutions

• College degree desired.

• Knowledge of the building material distribution business and exterior building products a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • • Extensive customer network.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Proven track record of consistent territory growth and quota obtainment

• A technical background a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
