Our IT consultants provide subject matter expertise to customer engagements in IT Architecture and IT Management frameworks, disciplines, governance and practices. The IT consultant is responsible for understanding the client’s business and IT requirements and for translating these requirements in state of the art IT solutions in a holistic way with the goal to strengthen the business alignment of the client’s IT environment with enterprise objectives.
In the role of a Trusted Advisor, our IT consultants guide and support our clients along the entire life cycle of an IT solution: Assess/Advice - Plan/Design à Build/Transform - Operate/Optimize - Withdraw/Decommission/Archive
Are you ready to participate in the next wave of the strategic IT transformation by applying the latest architectures, technologies and operational models in multi dimensional software defined hybrid cloud environment? Do you feel comfortable in supporting our clients on their way towards an ITaaService model by applying the latest Cognitive, Analytics, Automation and DevOps approaches?
You have at least 15 years experience as an IT Consultant, IT Service Manager or IT Project Manager and a proven skill and experience record in the areas of IT Service & Infrastructure Management, IT Transition & Transformations and IT Operational Models ideally acquired on a global level. Your expertise includes in particular the following:
Strong industry knowledge, understanding of Cloud technologies, capabilities and knowledge of upcoming trends to work with our clients in order to develop the IT roadmap, run PoCs and create ROI
Experience in IT Strategy assessment and design including planning and leading complex IT transformation and migration programs
Experience in capturing and analyzing clients IT Landscape including definition of clients future cloud strategy
Strong Architecture & Solutioning skills leveraging Cloud technologies including OpenStack, Softlayer or Amazon, Azure
Strong experience in Datacenter migrations, consolidations and virtualizations (v2v, p2p, cloud & exit programs)
Superior experience in the design and implementation of IT Operational models from a Service Management and Delivery Management point of view (IITL process framework, DevOps concepts and approaches)
Proven capabilities in optimizing operational and governance frameworks while ensuring OLAs, SLAs, KPIs and other business objectives are constantly met.
Broad understanding of Cloud providers, brokers, integration technologies and approaches.
Strong knowledge and experience in collaborating with product architecture, technical components and application functionalities
In depth skills and experience in the definition and implementation of Next Generation Service Management & Operational Models (incl. Brokerage, Orchestration & Automated Operation in a Software defined Datacenter)
Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Technologies (incl. Workload Analysis and Migration)
Our IT Consultants focus on strategical, tactical and operational aspects by applying a strong set of consulting methodologies and assets to create client specific strategies, prioritized roadmaps and migration scenarios to ensure competitive positioning of our clients in their market. In addition, the IT Consultant takes a leading role by establishing the defined strategy and driving the transformation and corresponding migrations and projects at client sight.
Ideally, you have a degree in Computer Science & Engineering complemented by additional certifications in Project Management, Consulting and/or IT Service Management. The candidate must possess excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, collaboration and communication skills:
