Business Planning Analyst I

Job Description:

Arrow Electronics in Guadalajara has grown significantly, and our Operations team is looking for a Business Planning Analyst to assist in this continuing expansion. This Business Analyst will be a key supporting structure to help manage data analysis and planning activities for the facility.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives.

  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

  • Responsible for coordinating projects and ensuring company resources are utilized appropriately. Compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules, manage project meetings, and identify and resolve problems.

  • May organize, lead and facilitate project-related meetings, including the creation of agendas and preparation of materials.

Experience / Education:

  • Typically requires a 4 year degree and 1–2 years of experience or a 2 year degree and equivalent related experience

  • Advanced/Fluent English
