Under minimal supervision, the Associate Technical Manager, Change Management develops, engages and leads a global team of Change Analyst IIs/Change Specialist to deliver excellent customer service to the business while delivering results and remaining compliant to the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities and duties of this role include, but are not limited to;

  • Collaborates with research and development, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory departments and applies best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects.
  • Oversees the execution of high quality, integrated cross-functional changes and plans for projects.
  • Hire, train, develop and engage top talent team members to: Understand medical device change management process and the onePLM technical workflows and to make the necessary decisions for the team, strategy and process. And understand the impact of changes to technical documentation, testing, manufacturing, regulatory and quality.
  • Craft the team structure to best serve the Business Units’ launch strategies by organizing people, workload/capacity to meet business and project needs.
  • As this team is created this role will assist with change management function to 1) better understand the work the team will be executing and 2) manage capacity constraints until the team is fully functional.
  • Plans, organizes, and sets short & long-term goals for the team.
  • Recommends process improvements and methods to streamline change management where applicable.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, develops and engages top talent while ensuring a pipeline of talent is established for future roles.
  • Directs the success of the team by managing people, workload/capacity to meet business and project needs.
  • Coaches employees on performance and make employee pay decisions and changes, planning department’s future needs and operations.
  • Collaborates with the onePLM Business Administrators to identify emerging issues and work to have them corrected.
  • Works with the Change Management Process Owner to implement changes to the process, and workflow as result of procedure updates or changes.
  • Works as a Change Analyst II in onePLM on complex changes and supports the team with increased change requests.
  • The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 6 years of professional experience.
  • The ability to manage a dynamic and global team.
  • Must possess strong communication, project management and influencing skills as well as successfully manage the changing needs of the business.
  • The ability to travel internationally when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Medical Device Industry.
  • Technical degree or technical experience
