Consulting Office of the CEO - Internal Engagement, Strategic Projects, & Change Management Advisor

Enabling Manager

This role is principally responsible for supporting & managing the CEO's internal engagement strategy and leading the development and execution of key strategic projects and initiatives. Both responsibilities require a critical lens for driving effective change management throughout the organization and a fundamental understanding of our business model and strategy.

As a lead for internal engagement, you will be responsible for designing and executing the internal engagement strategy for our CEO, as well as the broader agenda of our executive team. Effective execution of this role looks like effectively positioning the CEO as a trusted, transparent, people-first, listening leader through platforms that reach our people at scale and individually. This includes managing the development of and executing CEO communications, live events (in-person and webinars), focus group/listening sessions (e.g., debate huddles), and other creative solutions. Through these platforms you must also be able to provide independent, informed, unbiased insight rooted in on the ground feedback. You will be responsible for working across a distributed / primarily virtual team, managing both resources within OCEO and also across other Enabling areas- including primarily Talent and the Communication Center of Excellence.

As a lead for strategic projects, you will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing efforts at the direction of the Consulting Management Committee and CEO that directly impact our business, people, and Firm. Effective execution of this role requires mastery of change management and strategic communication tactics as well as the ability to work across teams, manage stakeholders (both executive and non-executive), manage up/down, and understand our business strategy and structure. Strategic projects led by the OCEO range in duration and complexity; therefore, as a Manager in this role you will need to manage multiple initiatives at once. Past strategic projects managed by the OCEO include design of Consulting's Hybrid Work-Model, COVID-19 Response PMO, Talent Experience Sprints (informed by PPMD / SM feedback), and a refresh of Coaching, etc.

This role is evolving, and opportunities to expand responsibilities based on interest and the need for high-priority initiatives are available. A high degree of flexibility, project management and coordination, and ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities are required. Strong communications (verbal and written) and creativity is required.

  • Develop, manage, and execute CEO communications (e.g., live events/townhalls, emails)

  • Develop mechanisms for capturing key sentiment, feedback, and insights from our people to help inform critical business decisions
  • Support communication needs for the CEO to reach and communicate with the broader leadership team (e.g., Marketplace Leaders - Team Up)
  • Track and report internal metrics and results of initiatives to demonstrate impact.
  • Support OCEO reporting requirements and Leadership Meetings as needed
  • Support strategic projects on behalf of the Consulting Leadership team and CEO
