Energy Automation Solutions Division has an opening for a CYME Product Manager - (Advanced Distribution Planning System) position at its Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville location.Position Overview:The CYME Product Manager (Core + ADPS) works to manage the product roadmap and development priorities for the CYME Software for driving long-term global sales growth through market share gain by developing customer-driven features and filling market needs. The role will work closely with engineering, sales, customer success and offer management and has the responsibility to develop customer requirements, including input in pricing, and specify technical requirements that will differentiate our software solutions in the global marketplace. The role will seek to develop and communicate technology developments while identifying and evaluating emerging markets and technologies globally.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will:+ Develops and manages the product roadmap with inputs from offer management, sales, engineering, and customer success along with customer requests and commitments as well as other industry trends.+ Develops, maintains, refreshes, and communicates the prioritization of the product roadmap including annual water lining of the roadmap.+ Ensures alignment and coordination of product roadmap with modern grid planning concepts and practices (advanced distribution planning).+ Works as the liaison between offer management and engineering on development schedules and needs.+ Develops Marketing Requirements Documents describing the software/feature functionality requests from customers and prospects taking into account market trends.+ Manages the Product Launch of new products, modules, and releases into the marketplace.+ Supports development of all product collaterals and working with offer management team and marketing communications team for brochure, press release, advertising, tradeshow and customer testimonial development.+ Provides support to sales in developing technical responses and proposals for customers or in response to customer request for proposals (RFPs).+ Works with other functions to provide expertise, training, demos, customer support to maintain a leading position with customers and win new business.+ Provides input to annual strategy planning process and profit planning.+ Evaluates potential R&D partnerships with internal and external research labs.+ Executes temporary project assignmentsWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering+ 10+ years of industry experience, including experience in software and power engineering+ Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)+ Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.+ No relocation benefit will be provided.
