Agile/Scrum Project Manager

Eatons Data Center segment is seeking a Agile/Scrum Project Manager to join our team. This position will be based at the Raleigh NC location.Primary function:In this role, you will participate in the development of our predictive monitoring and management solutions for Data Centers as well as our global BrightLayer Digital platform. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this role you will:+ Deliver software projects using agile methodologies while having a very good understanding of the entire Product Development Life cycle.+ Play a significant role in team interactions, finding ways to improve and optimize teamwork so the team can do their work more efficiently.+ Carry out the scheduling of daily activities and facilitate the communication between different parties and facilitating scrum events (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos and retrospectives) as needed.+ Ensure sprint level deliverables are completed on-time with optimum velocity+ Remove impediments, escalating issues to leadership when appropriate.+ Develop and execute work plans for iterative and incremental project delivery.+ Effectively use metrics to plan, forecast, and communicate status. Ensure accuracy of agile metrics, holding team accountable for timely updates of pointing and status.+ Forecasting and aligning project budget with velocity and backlog sizing.+ Work with stakeholders to refine requirements and provide a task breakdown with development estimates.+ Mentor and coach members of the team in all aspects of agile methodology and project management.+ Assist product owners to maintain good product backlog health.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution+ 5+ years of software industry experience in a delivery lead, agile coach, scrum master, QA lead, engineering, project management or similar role.+ Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle in an agile environment.+ Strong leadership experience working with multi-function geographically dislocated teams.+ Experience using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications+ Experience working on IoT and/or SaaS products.+ Project and/or scrum certification PMP/CSM or equivalent.+ Experience in navigating and exerting influence in a non-hierarchical organization.+ Excellent communication and people skills, ability to keep an open mind, to be supportive and motivate others.+ Expert experience with Scrum and other agile methodologies along with experience scaling agile practices across program and portfolio-level application development projects.+ Strong level of technical background to provide leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.+ Solid understanding of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).Position Criteria+ Ability to understand technical issues using strong analytical skills.+ Excellent communication, mentoring and leadership skills.+ In-depth, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.+ Strong time management skillsWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
