Eatons Wright Line Business is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Worcester, Massachusetts facility.This position will lead all manufacturing and related support operations for the Eaton Wright Line business, supporting 125M in revenue. The Worcester Plant Manager will lead over 150 employees and contingent workers, with responsibility for developing and executing short and long-term plans to achieve the annual profit plan, aligning the Wright Line Business Unit strategic initiatives with the Crouse-Hinds, B-Line and Oil & gas business plan. This position will provide strategic leadership, driving superior operational and financial results and demonstrating Eaton's Leader profile, Aspirational goals and Code of Ethics.+ Execute the annual profit plan and ensure that all groups meet financial and operating objectives.+ Drive accountability for performance by maintaining prompt and accurate reporting systems on all aspects of plant operations including supply chain management, inventory, labor, and production, shipping and receiving.+ Align functions to best support facility and product lines, ensuring empowerment and functionality across all entities.+ Preserve synergies across groups and facilitate appropriate talent alignment and development, knowledge retention and sharing of best practices.+ Partner with Product Management and Engineering for the Wright Line Business Unit in developing new products and bringing them to market.+ Continuously improve the operations through alignment with the Eaton Business System (EBS) with a strong focus on driving a Lean Culture.+ Drive a proactive focus on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), fostering and developing a zero-incident culture.+ Develop and cultivate relationships with key suppliers (internal and external) to ensure high quality supplier relationships.+ Ensure that the organization is highly responsive to customer issues by maintaining high on-time delivery (OTD) and drive for zero defects in terms of manufacturing workmanship and product quality.+ Drive effective communications across diverse business groups and employee populations.+ Lead and develop a culture that fosters employee engagement and accountability, ownership of customer solutions and a passion for exceeding customer and employee expectations. This position is Eaton's representative to the local community and government and must hold the highest ethical standards.+ Champion compliance with federal and state regulations and Eaton policies and procedures. Qualifications+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline. Masters Degree in a related field is highly preferred.+ Minimum of 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in manufacturing and/or variety of related support functions.+ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.+ Strong knowledge and experience with the Eaton Business System and process tools such as profit planning, strategic planning, Organizational Capability Assessment, Eaton Value Cycle, Corporate Accounts, ProLaunch, Lean System/Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management, Fixed Capital Optimization, Eaton Quality System, and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) processes (MESH, ISO 14001, etc.) is strongly preferred.+ Well-honed knowledge of current technologies in manufacturing (assembly and fabrication), engineering, materials management/inventory control, distribution and logistics, purchasing, quality assurance systems processes and practices.+ Financial and business acumen; prior profit and loss responsibility required.+ Proven record of successfully managing manufacturing process / product and customer / channel complexity and diversity in facilities with gross output of at least $100M.+ Track record of successful leadership, performance results, organizational development, excellence in communication and employee engagement and relentless operational improvement.We make what matters work.
