Position OverviewThis position will be responsible for globally leading the low voltage power electronics product line for Eaton eMobility. In this role, you will build and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to execute all engineering product development life cycle activities for the product line. Products include low voltage converters, battery equalizers and auxiliary inverters. The ultimate objective is to engineer products with high quality, competitive bill of material (BOM) and technology leading innovation.In this role you will:+ Build and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team.+ Oversee the execution of all project life cycle engineering activities including (1) pre-acquisition, (2) acquisition/pursuit, (3) application engineering, (4) handoff to production launch, and (5) sustaining engineering.+ Ensure all engineering processes follow Eaton eMobility standards.+ Prepare and manage engineering budgets.+ Define resources and timing commitments required to execute product line goals. Manage resources and team to achieve goals.+ Coach and mentor direct and indirect team members to meet commitments.+ Ensure all products are designed to achieve high quality. Drive engineering discipline in the product line.+ Manage BOM to achieve best cost and meet commitments.+ Collaborate with numerous internal stakeholders including program management, operations, sales, product strategy, marketing, quality, supply chain and manufacturing, Eaton Research Labs.+ Collaborate with numerous external stakeholders including component suppliers, engineering services and OEMMaking what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world.
