We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search of a better way, and who believe in inclusion.Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us _Feed the Future,_ and grow your career.Reports to the Director, Financial Accounting.**What you will do:**+ Oversee day-to-day financial accounting and month-end close processes, journal entries and consolidations+ Responsible for oversight and completion of system reconciliations+ Provide data to Tax, FP&A and Finance departments to utilize in reporting, planning and analysis+ Prepare external reporting schedules+ Work with external auditors to provide requested information+ Oversight of master data maintenance+ Identify and implement best practices regarding execution of accounting policies and procedures+ Interface with project team working on reconciliation tool as needed+ Partner with Technical Accounting to research emerging accounting and reporting issues to ensure company follows US GAAP and IFRS+ Work with Foundation team as needed as it relates to the accounting team+ Provide financial and business analysis to support key strategic objectives and implement reporting tools to aid management+ Participate in meetings with international businesses to assist with accounting needs+ Manage and develop a team of accountants+ Perform other duties and projects as assigned**What you will bring:**+ Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting from a recognized institution+ CPA or CMA is preferred+ Public Accounting experience from a Big 4 Firm, Regional Firm, or Internal Audit Background is a benefit+ 8 years of experience in practical financial experience is required+ Understanding of IFRS & US GAAP rules+ Experience with complex consolidations+ Demonstrated leadership skills are required+ Demonstrated analytical skills are required+ Highly detailed and self-motivated individual+ Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills+ Strong integrity and high business ethics+ Ability to lead by example and work well with others**Compensation & Benefits:**Salary Range $81,200 - $116,000 Annually.We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions.
