Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our team at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio supporting the Air Force's B-2 Division.

You will apply critical thinking, organizational skills, extensive knowledge and past program management experience to support the B-2 Division (AFLCMC/WWZ) as a Program Management Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be working on high-visibility and mission critical aspects of the program related to the most complicated and technical support tasks of ensuring our nation's frontline bomber is mission-ready.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply a full range of acquisition program management and sustainment philosophies, policies, and procedures, to perform a wide range of acquisition/sustainment management activities in support of the existing and future programs in the B-2 Division.
  • Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements for systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Assist with the development of Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Urgent Operational Need (UON), Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD), Service/Air Force Core Function Master Plan (CFMP), Analysis of Alternatives, Sustainment Metrics, Technical Reviews, and Life Cycle Cost, Modeling, and Simulation.
  • Assist in the coordination of documentation between functional resources (to include: financial, management, procurement, systems/software engineering, testing, and logistics) and assist with the consolidation of their inputs into common documents.
  • Provide assistance in risk management, project management, process improvement support, and logistics support.
  • Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Life Cycle Integration Team (LCIT) activities, Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, and Product/Process Improvement Working Group activities, Interface Control Working Groups (ICWG), and Test Plan Working Groups (TPWG).
  • Support in collection of programmatic inputs from weapons systems program offices for defining, developing, and managing the acquisition and development/upgrades to the various B-2 Division aircraft configurations.
  • Assist in producing or reviewing products for program office use that include Business Case Analyses (BCA), trade-off studies, estimates for program office acquisition and logistics requirements, written requirements documents for planned acquisitions, and acquisition strategies and plans.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years project/program management experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard integrated software applications
  • Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with ability to qualify for Special Access Programs
