Amentum is seeking an FSO / Security Manager in West Palm Beach, FL to work as part of a close knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As a member of the team you will:

  • Oversee the Security Administration function to include the development and implementation of policies and programs that ensure Company compliance with all federal, state and local laws, as well as government regulations concerning industrial security; additionally providing oversight and guidance for the security of Company physical and informational assets in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Manages all aspects of the DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and other security activities.
  • Ensures compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and investigates non-compliance issues.
  • Directs and supervises management of the security administration staff. Develop and coordinate training programs in security education; recommend and procure training materials and monitor the effectiveness of related training programs.
  • Ensures that all security staff are trained and adhere to the policies
  • Manage the security guard forces and to take responsibility for physical security of both ASD and WPB installations.
  • Oversee the proper usage, storage, transfer and destruction of classified documents, equipment and data files. They oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of all secure space access controls and secure filing cabinets.
  • Ensures 100% compliance with all AUTEC contract Security Programs including the NUWC check in/ check out database and manages receipt and approval of visit requests from international navy visitors.
  • Monitors personnel access to Level One and Level Two restricted areas and supports the Navy's Anti-Terrorism/ Force Protection incident responses at WPB and ASD.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must currently work on existing AUTEC contract in order to be eligible for this position.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 3 years experience managing security operations for a government contract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Secret security clearance preferred.
