Summary/Objective

The Grunt Style Retail Store Manager is a unique position that is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store by making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Essential Functions

  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage store inventory and source additional product to be offered while working with the Merchandising and Procurement teams and staying within budget.

  • Hire and manage staff, create scheduling.

  • Train new employees and provide continuing education for staff.

  • Create unique promotional events that are retail store specific.

  • Develop and arrange promotional tools and organize the retail space so that it is clean and eye catching.

  • Respond to customer complaints

  • Prepare and track buying trends, sales, and shrink.

  • Create business strategies that will attract new customers.

  • Analyze and predict sales, and sales trends to make informed decisions.

  • Protect against loss by monitoring security, training staff and maintaining security cameras.

Competencies

  • Computer and Tech savvy.

  • Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Basic Admin skill: printing, scanning, etc.

  • Communication.

Supervisory Responsibility

Hire, train, and provide continuous improvement mentorship to team members.

Work Environment

This job is located at Nebraska Crossing in Gretna, NE.

Physical Demands

This is an active position which requires little to no sitting.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday 10AM - 6PM. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin or related field preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a clothing retail environment, ideally in a managerial role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a high stress environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Self motivated.

  • Ability to read and understand sales data.

  • Computer skills.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

  • Understand the Grunt Style Brand and Ethos.
